Dating in my late 20s and 30s….but when I tell you God came through!

Girl!!!!!!!! I remember being on the dating scene! I felt like God forgot about me because I desire marriage. I remember it like it was yesterday! Everyone and their momma was dating except me!

Dating was like pulling teeth! At least that was how I felt. Of course I was stubborn along the way and dated the wrong type of guys. My parents warned me but I didn't listen.

I was one who had a timeline for my life!! By the age of 25 I wanted to be married! 25 came and went!

Covid came and I told myself oh there is no way I will meet someone now. Before covid my sister and I would go to these single events and Covid just put an end to things. Listen!!!! God does the unthinkable! I was one who was not willing to try online dating. I was Ted to meet someone in the grocery store, the mall, meet someone through a friend....you know what I thought was "regular".

I was introduced to this app by a coworker. She was always going on dates and she was new to the area. So I have it a try. I have the app 3 tries to 3 exact! The first two times I was not feeling it at all and did not stay on long to give anyone a chance.

My mom and sister told me "how do you expect to meet someone if you do not put yourself out there." So I gave it another chance and what are the odds....I met my husband within that week. I just want to add this piece in here.....I was not engaging in any sexual activities (but that is for another post). You never know what tools God will use to bless you. Do not limit God! He definitely let me know he was in control and not me.
